Oculvet ® Gel
Lubricant and humectant eye gel
For the protection of the canine and feline ocular surface in any condition where eye dryness and quali-quantitative changes of the tear film are a concern.
Gently pull down the lower eyelid and apply a rice grain amount of gel into the conjunctival sac two or more times a day. Avoid touching the eye with the tip of the tube. Gently close the eye and massage the eyelid with a finger to disperse the gel across the eyeball. Before applying the gel, make sure that the eye area is clean. Gently wipe away any discharge with a sterile wipe (eg, Oculvet® Wipes)
Inspired by the biological structure of tears, the formulation of Oculvet® gel restores both the aqueous and lipidic component of tears, giving relief in all dry-eye conditions. The combination of hyaluronic acid and carbomer gives the product an effective and prolonged lubricating and wetting action. The presence of medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) stabilizes the lipid layer of the eye. Traumatic acid helps to maintain the integrity of the eye surface. Adelmidrol , a palmitoylethanolamide analogue, performs a soothing action on ocular mucosa.
